What other people have to say about us….
“He totally did what you said!!!! AMAZING LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!”
Dana S. Mama of 2
“Last Friday night, after we talked, I had a dream that my husband and I went to a clinic where they exchange your child’s soul for a different one. In the dream I felt desperate to have a child that worked with me and would not be so difficult. So the lady across the desk was interviewing us. And then she proceeded to let us know that we would need to throw away all of my son’s toys because there needed to be no memories for the new soul to recognize and connect back to the behavior of my son. And something about her saying we needed to get rid of all of my son’s memories changed something inside me…not just in the dream…but I feel it in reality as well. My husband and I immediately said never-mind and left the office. The dream was over. Its like it flipped a switch that has allowed me to appreciate and respect my son’s soul. His precious soul that is on its own path and needs my guidance, love, respect and support. It changed everything. I haven’t had any anger toward him or resentment or fear around his actions. I am just letting him be himself.
Your words and guidance started that dream I am sure.
I have been loving and hugging and cherishing both of my children so much more this week. I actually feel harmony in my home.
Thank you Suzy.”

“Suzy’s classes gave me more confidence and helped me change my approach to parenting. She showed me strategies to bring the most positive experience to every situation with my almost two year old daughter. She also made me understand the importance of routine in our little one’s world. Through her coaching, I have become a more relaxed and assertive new mother. I highly recommend her and her techniques to everyone. She is extremely experienced, loving and caring.”
Suzy’s way will confirm your intuition in wanting to guide your kids with love and respect. She shows us how to do this with easy tools we can use right away to balance the child-parent relationship. Which in turn brings balance to the whole household. I used what she taught me and had instant results with my three year old, tools I could use that helped me keep my cool in frustrating situations and help guide my daughter in a very constructive way. Her ideas are real and easy to execute, straightforward parenting that leaves you feeling confident and ready for whatever a three year old might throw at you. I highly recommend her for big or small issues as she will help you make the most of your parenting and guide you in a way that makes sense.

Suzy has changed my life and the life of my two small children. My weekly sessions with Suzy have make understanding my children and their “stages” a delight. After my first session, I could already feel my growing sense of freedom, empowerment, empathy and wisdom. I feel quite clever that I have found Suzy and that I have been able to take the information she has shared with me and apply it. But that really is just because Suzy is very, very good at what she does and because she just wants to help people. She is taking all of her intelligence, research and experience and breaking it down into simple steps and techniques that are easy to use and remember and best of all…very effective. Suzy has taught me not only how I can be a more successful mother, but also (and more importantly) how I can help my children be more successful. Suzy is a gift to all of us!

I approached Suzy to help me devise a plan to encourage our almost four-year-old son to go to sleep by himself. Our pediatrician, friends, parents, etc… had all offered their thoughts and ideas about how best to break from our current way of doing things, which typically takes two hours from tub to sleep. Suzy’s strength came in really listening to me and, after devising a great plan to get our son to bed earlier/faster, she took it in stride when I told her that we planned to stick to our current evening routine. Suzy’s coaching really helped my husband and I come to our own conclusion about bedtime at our house, and, perhaps more importantly, gave us the objective assurance we felt we needed to continue to do what was best for our family.

Full-time working mother of two great kids.
I had heard rumors of babies sleeping through the night, but mine, at 10 months, was not yet one of them. As a working mom, the sleep deprivation was affecting my relationships and attitudes about this whole parenting gig. The other side of being a working, sleep deprived mom is that I did not have the time or energy to read through the volumes of sleep training information in books and on the internet. I needed help, but I did not know where to go for trusted advice.
Thankfully, I found Suzy of the Boulder Child Whisperer. In one 30 minute phone call she was able to counsel me on how to move my daughter from depending on me and nursing to fall back asleep to depending on herself. Suzy gave me the confidence to stick with my plan through the first long nights of a baby crying in the next room. One week later, my daughter was sleeping through the night and I feel like I have my life and my energy back.
Suzy is a great listener and as a result she helped me craft a plan that met my family’s needs. She also has deep expertise based both in sound research and first hand experience in raising her own twin boys. I would recommend her to any parent needing a little bit of coaching to tackle those parenting questions that come once you bring your little one home from the hospital.
